Technical SEO
Crawlability, indexation, log-file analysis, site architecture and internal linking, canonicalisation, hreflang, XML sitemaps, robots, and schema.org structured data — implemented, not just documented.
I'm Luke McLaughlin — a technical and performance SEO specialist and digital marketing manager. I turn complex products into compounding organic growth: crawlable architecture, fast Core Web Vitals, clean structured data, and full-funnel content that converts — and because I code, I can ship the fixes myself.
What I do
Most SEO stops at recommendations. I diagnose, prioritise, and implement: the technical foundation, the speed, and the content that together move rankings and revenue.
Crawlability, indexation, log-file analysis, site architecture and internal linking, canonicalisation, hreflang, XML sitemaps, robots, and schema.org structured data — implemented, not just documented.
Core Web Vitals and page-speed engineering: LCP, CLS, and INP fixes, image and font delivery, critical CSS, caching, and lean JavaScript so pages pass on real-world devices.
Intent-first keyword and topic-cluster strategy, pillar pages, on-page optimisation, and answer-engine / generative (AEO & GEO) optimisation that earns rankings and AI citations.
About
For more than ten years I've owned organic growth and digital marketing for science-led and technical companies — pairing technical SEO depth with full-funnel demand generation across content, paid, lifecycle, and CRM.
I sit comfortably between marketing and engineering. I can run a crawl in Screaming Frog, read the rendered DOM, fix the Core Web Vitals in the codebase, ship the schema, and then write the content that ranks. That removes the usual hand-off friction between SEO and dev teams.
My scientific training (MSc Molecular Biology, BSc Life Sciences) keeps me evidence-driven, and my language work in German, Japanese, and Mandarin supports international and multilingual SEO.
Who I help
I work best where technical credibility and commercial velocity have to coexist.

FAQ
A short reference for teams considering SEO and growth support.
Crawlability and indexation, site architecture and internal linking, canonicalisation, sitemaps and robots, structured data, JavaScript rendering, and Core Web Vitals. Because I code, I can implement the fixes directly rather than just hand over a list.
I profile with Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and field CrUX data, then attack LCP, CLS, and INP at the source — image and font delivery, render-blocking resources, critical CSS, caching, and lean JavaScript — so pages pass on real devices.
Yes. Alongside classic SEO I structure content and entities for answer engines and generative results: topical authority, schema markup, citable facts, and intent-matched answers so pages surface in AI Overviews and assistant responses.
